With some testing I see that I can probably embed img tags into a pqSelect option to add icons ahead of the text in the dropdown items. However, I would not want this image displayed in the selected item and in my tests it was not clear that the text will show at all. If there were events to capture the selection I could probably filter the option text for display.
It would be very nice to be able to attach an image via an option tag attribute to show at the beginning of the option.
