Title: PQGrid Filter : type=<select>

I know the <select> isn't available in v9 as a filter, but for the next version please could it be added as an additional option, as sometimes something simple is only needed. 

I use the current method of the drop down grid a lot and please don't change it.  However, sometimes when we only have a few single options to filter, it is too much and doesn't work as well on mobile devices, so an alternative simple option would be great.
