Bug Report / paramquery Cannot read property 'Z' of undefined
« on: July 09, 2018, 01:51:08 pm »
Hi I am trying to load the grid into a JQuery Template and am receiving the following error.  Jquery 2.1.0 must be different, not sure if there is a way to get teh screen values to work with 2.1.0 as I am receiving errors on the UI.

Hi did a fiddle on this, I noticed in my main project I was having issues changing the child.  Is this related to not being able to refresh also in pivot mode.

I have attached behavior I am seeing, and also noticed it having issues in fiddle.

Suggest new features / groupModel Option titleInFirstCol
« on: May 20, 2018, 07:37:01 am »
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to breadcrumb the title in first row option.  So as you scanning the data and in a big group, there was a way to remember what you are looking at.

Group 1
Group 1 > Group 2
Group 1 > Group 2 > Group 3

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Can filters be share across 2 grids
« on: May 16, 2018, 01:46:47 pm »
Can external children grids be linked on filters so the master grid controlled the context on the child.

$( ".selector" ).pqGrid( { filterModel: { header: true } } );

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Dynamic Formulas with functions
« on: May 15, 2018, 01:40:24 pm »
.I am almost complete, but am on one last portion.  How could we create dynamic formulas..

                var formulaModel = ['r' + key, function (rd) { return rd.SERIES_TYPE === 'Forecast' ? rd[key]: undefined; }];

Trying this but no go so far...

Took the render off the colModel, and it looks like it is in teh render area...

  var colRenderObjCreate = {
                    title: key,
                    width: 150,
                    dataIndx: 'r' + key,
                    format: "##,###",
                    hidden: false,
                    nodrag: true,
                    align: "center",
                    cls: "date-col",
                    summary: {
                        type: "sum",
                        edit: false
                    },
                    render: function (ui) {
                    var rd = ui.rowData;
                        return (rd.SERIES_TYPE != 'Forecast' ?
                    pq.formatNumber(rd[key], ui.column.format) :
                    ui.formatVal);
                    }
                };

strangest thing is it is working only at the most child level...

Thank you

Help for ParamQuery Pro / groupModel works when toggling Grouping
« on: May 15, 2018, 10:56:44 am »
Hi,

Working more on the calls from IndexDB and now, I have created my colModel dynamically and everything looks good,  I am having some issues with the groupmodel not initializing unless I push toggl on/off, At the end I add the group model and refreshviewanddata hoping it refreshes but no luck.

  var groupModel = {
        on: true,
        indent: 20,
        dataIndx: dataIndx,
        summaryInTitleRow: "all",
        grandSummary: true,
        showSummary: [],
        summaryEdit: false,
        titleInFirstCol: true,
        bold: true,
        collapsed: [false, false, false, true],
        title: ['{0}', '{0}', '{0}', '{0}']
    };

   var grid = pq.grid("#grid_group_rows", obj);
    grid.colModel = buildColM;
    grid.Group().option(groupModel);
    console.log(groupModel);
    grid.refreshDataAndView();

Hi,

I was wondering if you had a demo where the columns in PQGrid  change with the order of the columns made by the user.  When you click on them they expand the groups and so in.

Thanks!!

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Local Storage
« on: May 09, 2018, 02:21:06 am »
Hi I am trying to save a copy and then pull my data into the object.  I am attempting as per the following:

Step 1 Store the Data...
 //getdata
    var now = Math.floor(Date.now() / 1000);
    var last = localStorage.getItem("SCTCollDataTime");
    console.log(last);
    //Refresh if data is older than 10 minutes 600ms
    if (now - last > 600) {
   var data = $.ajax({
        async: false,
        type: "Get",
        url: '/Collaborate/Get',
        dataType: 'json',
        data: {
            json: JSON.stringify(data)
        },
        success: function (data) {
            localStorage.setItem("SCTCollData", JSON.stringify(data));
            localStorage.setItem("SCTCollDataTime", Math.floor(Date.now() / 1000));
        },
    });
    }

Step 2

Get Item from Storage
1st Attempt:
I had my data formatted using the data: prefix

2nd Attempt:
var sales = JSON.stringify(window.localStorage.getItem('SCTCollData'));

 var dataModel = {
        dataType: "JSON",
        location: "local",
        //location: "local",
        recIndx: "ID",
        Data: { data: sales }
        }

I was able to pull the data in just without having a recIndx defined, I just could not use recIndx which I am trying to log all the changes.

Thanks!

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Refresh on cellSaveEvent
« on: May 01, 2018, 06:49:06 pm »
Reviewing the cellSave event and also read through this forum post:  https://paramquery.com/forum/index.php?topic=469.0.  I attempted the refresh  and no luck :(  Now I will admit that I am doing some crazy things, with calculated columns.

(With 16 columns I am doing the following:

['c_6', function (rd) {
            return rd.Series == 'SomeSeries' ? rd.C_6 : undefined;
        }]

With these 16 columns, I am rendering the real value from 'C_6'
When I do an edit, and the edit is on 'c_6' I call

    function editParentRow(ui) {
        var newRow = ui.updateList[0].newRow;
        var rowIndex = ui.updateList[0].rowIndx;

        changeKeysToUpper(newRow);
        grid.updateRow({
            rowIndx: rowIndex,
            newRow: newRow,
            checkEditable: false
        });
    }

In order for this to work, I must have the uppercase of C_6, C_5, ... columns defined and hidden.  I added the summary columns, and repeated all the steps for my groupings as I did for my columns.  Now my calculations on the summary are concatenating my groupings and on these calculated columns,

On the event I execute the following and nothing occurs :(

    cellSave: function (evt, ui) {
            //need to refresh row, so col summaries update.
            this.refreshRow({rowIndx: ui.rowIndx});
        },

Help for ParamQuery Pro / rowIndx from tableToArray
« on: May 01, 2018, 12:47:49 am »
Hi,

I was curious what is the appropriate binding for rowIndx,  I have tried the following but seems like it is not being recognized.

var obj = $.paramquery.tableToArray(tbl);

newObj.dataModel = { rowIndx: obj.data[0], data: obj.data };
newObj.dataModel = { rowIndx: "ID", data: obj.data };

Thanks!

Thought I would share on a common scenario that we run into with our users where they are entering into some data collection grid that helps them keep track where and what they have completed.

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Custom Aggregations
« on: April 25, 2018, 10:29:23 pm »
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there was a little more guidance on custom aggregations.

For example lets say we had a 3 tier group, but the lowest group had a couple of children.  I dont want to see all the children summing up to the top, but rather see only 1 of the children totals.  I have included a picture of my thought on this.  Where at the lowest level, I am looking at dirty and clean clothes, but when I roll it up, I only want to see my clothes summing up, not the dirty ones.

Thanks!!!!

ParamQuery Pro Evaluation Support / Dynamic Column Binding From JSON
« on: April 21, 2018, 11:39:22 am »
I was curious, I tried making columns dynamic defined in a JSON... Is it possible to get get columns like:

  var colM = {
        location: "remote",
        recIndx: "dcol",
        dataType: "JSON",
        method: "GET",
        url: "/Content/collcolmodel.json",
    };

dcol is where the colM model is nested, or can I just call "title":"" if this is possible?

I want to have the ability to store different definitions of the object model and just call from REST.

groupModel.titleCls and groupModel.summaryCls are unsupported. Instead use rowInit and column.render to inject classes

I am wondering if there are any examples for the new options.  Looking thru all the examples, and I do not see color unless it is on the old demos.
