Export feature is working fine in Desktop and Mobile devices but not in iPad. In iPad, a zip file is asked to download which contains some xml info. Please find the screenshot as attached. Kindly let us know the patch or any solution for the same.

Excel export is compliant with ooxml format and tested for Excel application on windows only.
Please mention with which app you are trying to open the Excel file in iPad

Hi,
Using safari and chrome in iPad, while exporting, it export in a zip file by default. We are using default app i.e. content viewer which shows up the data in xml. Please suggest any app for iPad.

You need Microsoft Excel application to open Excel ( xlsx ) file. Otherwise you can try the csv format.

There is nothing wrong in pqgrid Excel export.
Please note that iPad doesn't allow download of file directly from browser especially via javascript due to security restrictions.
Excel file exported by pqgrid opens fine in MS Excel app in iPad. Please see the screenshot. The file is exported on desktop and transferred to iPad via iTunes.
