Edit first cell not last in batch
« on: February 19, 2019, 04:40:45 pm »
Hi,
not sure if we are using the free or pro version, but I think its the pro one.
Our users wants the editing to work exactly like Excel, where the first cell you select (with mouse or keyboard) is the one you edit (when you have selected more than one cell).
In ParamQuery the active cell (which receives keyboard input) is the last cell you select in a multicell selection.
Is this behavior possible to change?

Thank you!
Peder

You are right, in paramquery the last cell in a multi selection is the active cell and I'm afraid it's not possible to change it currently.

Thank you for your quick reply.

It would be great if there could be an option to change/customize it to the first cell in a future version. We uncovered in a user test that many of our users were confused by this, as they are so used to the way it works in Excel (they also use the product based on Paramquery and Excel in parallell switching forth and back).
