Html 5 Input Type

Can I use a HTML 5 data type?

For example, if an form is submitted with a HTML5 data type "email", there is an error checking "Please include an'@' in the email address ..."

Can I include this type of checking in a pqgrid?

There is no inbuilt support for HTML5 data type in the grid.
