Filter on rendered cells

I use render function to display decimal values as percentage. When using header filter I would like to do match against the rendered value...is that possible?

Ex: 0,01 is displayed as 1 in grid and when filtering I want use 1 and not 0,01.

It's possible to do that by using column.format instead of column.render function.
