Help for ParamQuery Pro / Adding column with indicator icos
« on: July 29, 2021, 08:38:24 pm »
Do you have any example on how to create a column that can contain 0 to many indicator icons, based on the row's data?

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Re: Conditional Cell Formatting

Thanks! Follow on question. Now that I've applied a cell color, the red tracking indicator no longer appears after the cell is edited. The grid still remembers the edited rows, but the indicator doesn't display. Adding this callback makes the "dirty" indicator not appear. Any ideas?

colAP.render = function (ui) {
  return { style: 'background:pink' };
}

Here's an example that mimics my layout, but in this example the indicator DOES appear. Hopefully you may have an idea.

when clicking on a column filter, instead of [None] selected as default, can [Range] be selected as the default?

Thank you. What is the syntax If I only want to color 1 column (month1) red in the grouping row? I tried a render function for the column but could figure out the group logic.

For grouped rows: I would like to change the background of the grouping row to red if two particular columns are not equal AND if the group row is grouped by a particular column.
In my jsfiddle, if month1 <> month 2 AND is grouped by Rank, then color red.

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Conditional Editable
« on: July 06, 2021, 11:51:18 pm »
I am able to make a column read only, based on its contents using the following:
                                colAP.render = function (ui) {
                                    var rd = ui.rowData; //.children[0];
                                    var zz = rd.pq_cellprop = rd.pq_cellprop || {};
                                    zz[ui.dataIndx] = { edit: false };
                                    if (rd["My Resource"].indexOf("Yes") > -1) {
                                            zz[ui.dataIndx] = { edit: true };
                                    }
                                }
                                colDT.push(colAP);

However, if user drags contents from another cell to this cell, its editable. How can I prevent a cell like above from not being editable on drag/fill?

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Re: loadState using State Parameter
« on: June 30, 2021, 09:03:03 pm »
Thanks, that works great.
If I try to load state using this: result = $gridMain.pqGrid("loadState", { state: result });
and a recently added field in the grid doesn't exist in the state, I get this error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'dataIndx' of undefined

What's the best way to either avoid this error or get the "result" var back, in order to let the user know that the state is old and doesn't contain 1 or more grid fields.

Works! Thanks. If I have a column filter applied to one viewstate and change to another viewstate (w/no filter), the filter remains. Any ideas on how to remove this for the viewstate which doesn't have a filter applied?

Thank you. That works. However, there's a scenario where I'm selecting a new grid state from a dropdown list without reloading the page and it's not working. Any ideas why?

                var obj = document.getElementById("selViews");
                var gState = obj.options[obj.selectedIndex].getAttribute('rpmGridState')
                const search = '\\"';
                const replaceWith = '"';
                const result = gState.split(search).join(replaceWith);
                success = $gridMain.pqGrid("loadState", { state: result });
                $gridMain.pqGrid('option', 'title', "Current View: " + obj.options[obj.selectedIndex].text);
                $gridMain.pqGrid("refreshView");

I'm using multiple grouping levels in my grid. Is there a way to save the expand/collapse state of a row in the savestate method? If not is there a strategy I could implement to achieve this?

Help for ParamQuery Pro / How to Remove Filter
« on: June 08, 2021, 04:51:05 pm »
I'm saving/loading grid settings in Database for users, which is working great. But when a filter is applied, the users are unable to remove the filter. Do you have any advice on how a user can remove a filter once applied? Changing the filter to "None" and clicking OK does not remove the filter or the filter icon from the colum.

Disregard my last request. At the moment I don't need to apply this grouping granularity. Thanks again.

Thank you. How can this be updated so that if grouped by 2 columns (company and rank) the sum is only displayed for 1 column (rank)
