Hide/Show Columns - from dropdown only?

I would like to implement this feature....

I've looked at your example here:
http://paramquery.com/pro/demos/showhide_columns

but cannot figure out how I could just have the dropdown only so I can select which columns to hide/show.

Would this be possible to implement ?

use maxDisplay: 0 in pqSelect.
