Major Pro Version 5.0.0
« on: December 12, 2017, 11:11:18 pm »
Dear All

We are pleased to announce release of major upgrade version 5.0.0

Major highlight of this version is smooth native scrolling with virtual rendering i.e., rendering of cells only lying in the viewport as the grid is scrolled.

And there is only one unified rendering mode now so there is no botheration between choosing virtual and non virtual mode.

We are glad that while adding this feature,

1. we did't have to put a cap on number of rows, columns or merge cell dimensions unlike other grids.

2. there are only minor breaking changes mostly related to scrolling API as mentioned in upgrade guide.

Happy coding!

Best Regards
The ParamQuery Team

Hi,
We are using Version 3.3 Pro Enterprise. As you have mentioned that Version 5 is released with major upgrade so can we have a changelog for same. We tried to download evaluation copy of latest version  but there is no change log in that. Out license is already expired and in order to get it renewed changelog would help us to indentify that What's New We Would Get In Ver.5

Changelog is not included in Evaluation copy, it's included only in licensed SDK.

You can also get the details of new and updated API from API documentation.

https://paramquery.com/pro/api

New, updated API is labelled as new, updated, etc and breaking changes are mentioned in upgrade guide.

Since you have to upgrade from v3, you would need to refer to all API and upgrade guides from v4 to v5.

New features are also demonstrated in demos section and labelled with New.
