Help for ParamQuery Pro / Re: Creating a criteria panel
« on: September 23, 2022, 05:44:35 pm »
Thanks for your feedback, it's being added in the upcoming version.

If you want to develop it yourself, then you can take help of grid API

grid.getColModel() to get get column list.

grid.filter() method to filter the records in grid.

Thanks for the steps, I'm able to reproduce the issue and looking into it.

I've created this jsfiddle from your code, but am unable to reproduce the mentioned issue.

Please re check and try to reproduce in the jsfiddle.

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Re: cellDblClick Sample Codes
« on: September 22, 2022, 05:57:48 am »
cellDblClick is a simple event which is fired when a cell is double clicked.

Sample code to open a url upon dblclick is given below:

Code: [Select]
    $(function () {
        var data = [
            { rank: 1, url: '', revenues: 339938.0, profits: 36130.0 },
            { rank: 2, url: '', revenues: 315654.0, profits: 11231.0 }

        var obj = {
            width: "80%",
            height: 400,
            resizable: true,
            title: "Grid From JSON",
            showBottom: false,
            scrollModel: { autoFit: true },
            dataModel: { data: data },
cellDblClick: function(evt, ui){
var url = ui.rowData[ ui.dataIndx ];
var win =, '_blank');

Lazy loading of nodes can be used to fetch large data efficiently in case of treegrid.

Example of lazy loading of nodes:

Help for ParamQuery Pro / Re: Excel Values Display Wrong
« on: September 15, 2022, 04:33:18 pm »
Dear Punit

It's caused by quite deep nesting of complex formulas, even Google sheets displays #REF! in that cell.  I would look further into it

Meanwhile If you using it as a read only spreadsheet, then you can use this code to remove formulas upon importing the excel file into a workbook and before importing into pqgrid, that way the value would be displayed correctly.

Code: [Select]
          pq.excel.eachCell(wb.sheets, function(cell){
                cell.formula = null;

There are different errors mentioned in your post and stack trace.

Can you share a jsfiddle so that I'm able to check it.

v8.6.0 has been released.

News / Upgrade to Pro Version 8.6.0
« on: September 05, 2022, 09:01:18 pm »
Dear All

We are excited to announce release of the new version v8.6.0

Background or lazy loading of data was first introduced in v8.5.0 to make loading big data quite user friendly.
This version introduces more improvements in it to make it as robust and applicable to most of the use cases which could be implemented with remote loading of data.

Background loading has been used in these 2 examples:

Few additional options have been added in Pivot tooPanel API.

Besides there are few important bug fixes in rowTemplate ( for nested data ) and row grouping vis-a-vis multiple column sorting.

Best Regards
The ParamQuery Team

I guess you mean by height: 'flex' , it makes the grid height equal to its content ( subject to maxHeight property ) and has nothing to do with web page scroll.

In your screenshots, both the grids have vertical scroll bars.

Please let me know if I've missed something.
